GRILLED ASPARAGUS WITH PONZU SAUCE

INGREDIENTS :

482g asparagus, 1 clove of garlic, 2tsp toasted white sesame seeds, 3 limes, 1/2tsp sea salt, 2T olive oil.

SEASONINGS:
1T soy sauce, 1/2tsp sea salt, 2T frozen citrus concentrate, 2T mirin.

PREPARATION :

1. Rinse limes; Cut into halves; Juice.
2. Add seasonings and the lime juice from the step 1 to a bowl; Mix well to be ponzu sauce.
3. Pre-heat a broiler to its maximum temperature.
4. Peel, rinse and mince garlic.
5. Rinse Asparagus; Cut off both ends; Add 1T olive oil, 1/2tsp sea salt and the garlic; Toss to mix well.
6. Grease the broiler; Arrange the asparagus on the broiler; Brush some ponzu sauce from the step 2 on the asparagus; Broil till tender; Lift the asparagus up from the broiler; Arrange on a serving plate; Garnish with some toasted white sesame seeds.
