SPICY BRAISED KONNYAKU

INGREDIENTS :

1 konnyaku cake.

SEASONINGS:
(1) 1/3 cup of Konbu Dashi, 3T soy sauce, 1T mirin, 1T sugar, 1T chili oil,
(2) 2tsp 7-pepper spice, 1tsp sesame oil.

PREPARATION :

1. Cut konnyaku into pieces.
2. Add seasoning (1) to a pot; Stir to mix well; Bring to the boil over a high heat; Turn to a low heat; Add the konnyaku; Simmer over a low heat till most of the liquid has evaporated; Add seasoning (2); Stir to mix; Turn off the heat; Arrange in serving plates.
